An old dwarven finesmith of Baldur's Gate, especially talented at cutting gemstones and creating delicate chains. Brummyr is a quiet, serious-faced but affectionate sort with a deep love of the arts. They have had numerous students over the years proving their fondness for teaching, and it's especially revealing that not all of those students were finesmiths in particular but smiths of all kinds.
More than their skills with metal, Brummyr is known for the teaching of grace and patience... though this appears to be the case only within the actual crafting and creating of their works of art and in teaching, as they are notorious for impatience when it comes to the matter of customers. This trait means it is usually one of their students that deals with the 'front of house.'
