• ENVER GORTASH: The reason Koriat has to start taking certain actions in Baldur's Gate. Gortash's ascension to power and approach to the creativity and techonology within the city (particularly the hoarding and control of it) go directly against the precepts of Gond and oblige Koriat to take action against him however he can... and the capture and forced-slave labour of a huge sect of Gondar then ups the severity of that horribly. Koriat considers the man his enemy. What Gortash knows about him in return is unknown, though it's likely he has to have some ideas about the things he's been up to...
