IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS

MYRRI (FRIEND/CONTACT): Emil met Myrri after searching for a translator local to Baldur's Gate... well, technically he met her during a rather animated festival. It involved a lot of alcohol and the two of them getting really into their spontaneous joint singalong session; finding out about her talents came after. They get on well, usually sharing a drink or two every time he's in town outside of the work he offers her.

THOMAS (FRIEND/CONTACT): Introduced through Myrri, Thomas was recommended as a bodyguard for Emil, a task he performed admirably. It thus became a repeat task every time Emil came to Baldur's Gate. Emil became rather attached to Tom after witnessing one of Tom's more challenging magical outbursts and feeling a great deal of sympathy for the struggle of it, despite Tom acting rather aloof every time Emil has attempted to discuss it with him.

KORIAT (BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP): Koriat's penchant for invention and quality work, and Emil's desire to experience the new and exciting, has created a small but satisfying business partnership that's resulted in Koriat's clockwork toys reaching Waterdeep over time, as well earning Koriat several direct weapon commissions from the Hothemer family.
